ihatePDF (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how ihatePDF handles information when you use our application.

1. Offline PDF Processing & No Direct Collection

ihatePDF is a fully offline PDF processing tool. All image conversion, PDF creation, compression, editing, and document management occur strictly and locally on your device.

- We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit your photos, personal documents, or PDF files.

- We DO NOT collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

- ihatePDF does not require account creation.

2. File & Photo Storage

All files created or modified using ihatePDF are stored solely on your device's local storage (such as your Documents or Downloads folder). We have no access to your files, and no user files are ever uploaded to external servers.

3. Third-Party Advertising & Data Collection (AdMob)

To keep the application free, ihatePDF integrates third-party advertising SDKs, specifically Google AdMob. 

While our app features work offline, AdMob requires an internet connection and may automatically collect and share certain non-personal data for ad serving, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes. This data includes:

- Approximate Location: To serve regionally relevant advertisements.

- Device or Other IDs: Such as Advertising ID (AAID) and device identifiers to measure ad performance, provide analytics, and prevent fraud.

4. Permissions

ihatePDF requests necessary device permissions solely to carry out core features:

- Storage / File Access: To let you select images/files and save the generated PDF files locally on your device.

5. Data Security & Encryption

All file processing is strictly local to your device. Any ad-related network requests initiated by Google AdMob are encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS protocols.

6. Children’s Privacy

ihatePDF does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Third-party ad networks (Google AdMob) operate under their own privacy standards and age-related guidelines.

7. Compliance & DPDP

ihatePDF aims to comply with applicable data protection requirements, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework, by minimizing data collection and keeping all document handling strictly local to the user's device.
